Europe (according to Sherpa)

Most travel to Europe is now open for US travelers, especially for Vaccinated travelers.  Americans can once again enjoy the pubs of London, the cafes of France and the beer halls of Germany.  Savor the taste of pasta in an Italian ristorante or the flavor of a kebab in a Greek Taverna. 
 
Here is a quick overview of requirements:
 
France, Germany, Spain, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland – entry restricted to vaccinated travelers only.  Vaccinated travelers do not have to have a negative Covid-19 test to enter.
 
Italy – most travelers from US can enter Italy.  Arriving on Covid-tested flights – travelers must present a negative COVID-19 PCR  or antigen test taken 48 hours prior to boarding.  May have to take a COVID-19 PCR test on arrival.  Unvaccinated travelers arriving on regular flights are required to quarantine for 5 days on arrival.
 
UK – Travel is allowed with restrictions.  Mandatory 10-day quarantine for unvaccinated travelers and must take covid-19 test on 2nd or 8th day. Must present negative Covid-19 test on arrival if unvaccinated.  Vaccinated travelers do not have any restrictions.  Masks are recommended.
 
Ireland – Unvaccinated travelers have a mandatory 14-day quarantine and present proof of negative Covid-19 test on arrival.
 
Greece – No quarantine.  Proof of negative Covid-19 test for unvaccinated travelers.

 

Asia

Japan – US citizens cannot travel to Japan at this time.  For all other travelers, 14-day quarantine and negative Covid-19 test on arrival.
 
China -- US citizens cannot travel to China at this time.  For all other travelers, 14-day quarantine and negative Covid-19 test on arrival.

 

 

South America

Brazil, Peru, Venezuela – Travel is allowed with some restrictions.  No quarantine.  Proof of negative Covid-19 test required.
