RCCL COVID-19 Protocols

All RCCL cruises in North America will require guests 12 and older to be fully vaccinated at least 14 days prior to sailing. All crew onboard the ship and at the private island are fully vaccinated.  Additionally, all guests 12 and over must show a negative Covid-19 test (PCR or antigen) taken no more than 2 days prior to sailing and before arrival at the terminal. Guests can now get a pre-cruise antigen test kit sent to their homes within 3 days of purchase which will include live video supervision. Children 2-11 must show a negative PCR test taken no more than 3 days prior to arrival at cruise terminal and will need to take another PCR test at the cruise terminal.  Also, on cruises of 5 nights or more, children 2-11 will need to take an antigen test onboard within 24 hours of debarkation.  No testing is required of children under 2.

Onboard the ships, cruisers will find a heightened attention to “Healthy Cruising”. This includes 100% fresh, filtered air; medical grade cleaning standards; upgraded medical facilities and expert care; and safe, timely return to home in any scenario.  All crew members, plus staff at Perfect Day at Coco Cay, are fully vaccinated.   Masks are only required indoors in public areas, unless seated and “actively eating and drinking”, or while visiting public ports of call where local regulations require it. RCCL will be traveling with fewer guests for now so there will be plenty of space plus will have a number of “vaccine only” venues.  Shore excursions have been designed with local operators to support RCCL’s “Healthy Cruising” program so that vaccinated guests can take any tour or visit a port freely while families with unvaccinated children must purchase a local tour through RCCL.
